Set precious and semi-precious stones including diamonds, opals, and pearls. Primary engraver including rings, pocket watches, and restoration of antique pieces. 2008 to 2013: Vamp Aesthetics - Self-employed jeweler - vampaesthetics.com - Portland, Oregon Design and produce custom jewelry using fine metals including gold and silver with semi-precious stones. Skills include lost wax designs, granulation, pouring ingots, producing stock such as wire, flat plate, and other tools of jeweler trade. Design and repurpose vintage costume jewelry by resetting, restringing, and redesigning old pieces in unique and modern interpretations. Repair jewelry, restoring it to its original condition. 2004 to 2008:Dahlen Fernandez and Fritz Dental Laboratories - Dental technician - Portland, Oregon Produced wax models of teeth used for casting in metal or porcelain. Produced wax models for metal copings to be used as a base for porcelain caps. Job entailed highly-developed fine motor skills to replicate detail in dentist’s impressions and instructions. Tools included hot wax stylus and carving tools. Work was deemed very high-quality with exemplary volume of 15-20 models per day.
